About

Me

My name is Jascha Kuphal and I am a sixteen-year-old car photographer from Berlin, Germany. I have been a car enthusiast for roughly three years now and have shared a passion for photography since I was 10 years old. Quickly, I combined my two biggest interests, resulting in a growing portfolio of high-quality automotive photography.

How we use AI

Transparency is the key to a healthy relationship – even between seller and customer.
We live in a modern age of photography, where every day you have to wonder whether or not the images you're seeing are actually real.

Because of that, I want to answer some questions concerning this topic:

Are any of our photographs generated using artificial intelligence?

No, none of our photographs are fully AI-generated.

There has always been, and always will be, a physical connection between the camera and the car you see in every one of our photographs.

Is artificial intelligence used to alter or enhance parts of our photographs?

Yes, some parts of our photographs are influenced by artificial intelligence.

AI usage in photography shouldn't be seen as purely negative. Photos that seemed unusable a few years ago – because a person walked through the picture mid-shot or due to an annoying sign in the background – can now easily be "saved" and/or improved.

The most common use of AI in our workflow is noise reduction in photos taken in poor light conditions, and the removal of license plate information for data protection reasons. Occasionally, people walking through the background or objects obstructing the view are removed and/or replaced using AI.

The rarest form of AI generation we use is the expansion of images beyond their original size. So far, this has only been used in the slideshow on our main page.

What we do

At one point or another, every photographer has to consider the value of their work. For a long time, I felt that sharing my photography on social media was enough. Recently, however, my mindset shifted. My new goal is to bring my photography onto the walls of people who enjoy car culture just as much as I do. I aim to achieve this by producing high-quality prints on premium photo paper and aluminum.
